Was he in a Walmart parking lot and was he shooting to protect property or himself? Seems to me that he did not shoot anyone until they ran him down and assaulted him. I do not know the laws in WI regarding self-defense, but here in FL we have something called "stand your ground" or something like that. You are not required to flee for you life before defending it. If someone rushes you here with a weapon in their hand (skateboard, rock, etc.) you can defend yourself, even if it means using a firearm.

Looks like carrying a fire extinguisher to that riot was not a good idea. The arsonists did not want the fires they started put out (which is one of the things Rittenhouse was trying to do). I wonder why the thugs who attacked this 71 year old man have not been arrested and put on trial.

Well if you would watch the trail you would know. The night before the shooting, the rioters burn down private owned businesses. The car dealership lost $1.5M in cars on his lot. Kyle and a bunch of others were asked to help protect the other car lots the next day since the police department were defended and short handed and very busy with all the rioters (you know the ones out there just exercising the first amendment rights).
