The burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt for the prosecution. There is no burden of proof for the defense. That is innocent until proven guilty.

They will claim that it is their first Amendment right to burn down cities and riot, based on either ethnicity or gender or gender bender. But I digress.....
IF there is justice in this country, he will be found NOT GUILTY on ALL counts.
He probably will be found Not Guilty on all of the serious crimes. He admitted that he owned a gun and explained how he bought it.

Even though he probably will be found not guilty he should have never subjected himself to the circumstances which led to this "mess". This included his inexperience with guns and carrying around an assault style weapon in a very volatile situation. He just wanted to play cop.

Just a little itty bitty tiny widdle difference:

HIS stupid decisions resulted directly in the creation of two corpses. "Boys will be boys" is not a reasonable excuse for that.

No doubt he made some questionable decisions, but nothing nearly as stupid as the ones made by the people who wound up getting shot.

Their violent actions attacking him are what killed them. He responded in self defense. Had they not attacked him they would be free to continue their well documented criminal lifestyles, child and spousal abuse among other things. They were two violent thugs. He did society a favor in the long run as he saved their future victims from them.

"Rosenbaum grabbed the barrel of the rifle. Now, who is this guy? He’s prohibited from possessing or was firearms. He had sex with a minor, gruesome grotesque sex with a minor. He’s a bail jumper, two domestic abuse charges. That’s Rosenbaum. You haven’t heard about Rosenbaum.

How about Huber, hits him in the head, chases him with a skateboard. That’s like a bat, then hits him in the neck with a skateboard. Who was he? Well, among other things, he had he was a domestic abuse repeater. Well, shouldn’t people know that"

So - he'll have to live with knowing that he is "THAT GUY" for the rest of his life. If he doesn't like it, he could just plead guilty on all counts, GO to jail, where he can live the rest of his life in relative anonymity.
REALITY is a problem for many. I've had guns since I was about 13. Should he go to jail his chance of surviving is very unlikely.

Reasoning with a rioting mob? Easy to do on a computer. Reality is something else all together.

As I said, reasoning with a rioting mob? You only need to read some of the posts.
No shortage of closed minds. Plus throwing in their own views which first of all are not facts to support their OWN narrative. Put them into a mob, feeding on its own mob hate
and you have a rioting mob.

Poor ******* should have never been put in a situation where he thought he needed to protect businesses and people around him. That is what our elected officials and our police officers are there for but in this case as well as countless others they were standing down and allowing the rioting, looting and fire bombing.

Two victims were unarmed and the one who survived always carried a pistol when he went to work as an actual paramedic. What mother drives her under age kid across state lines carrying an AR15 which he was too young to own, to a violent protest? This kid beat up a girl not long ago but the judge wouldn’t let the jury hear it. This won’t be the end of Rittenhouse’s criminal problems.

According to Snopes fact checker the allegation of Rittenhouse beating a girl is unproven. Also debunked was that he was driven across state lines.

Also according to Snopes, Rosenbaum was convicted and sent to prison for child molestation of five boys 7 to 11 years old. The other two “victims” had criminal records for domestic abuse and drug charges. But the judge would not let the “victims” actual criminal past be told to the jury just as the unproven allegation against Rittenhouse was banned from the jury.

As to future legal problems it fits the “victims” established record of crime better than Rittenhouse.

I hope Rittenhouse is convicted and spends many years in jail.
