Politely disagree. Live in the Spanish Springs area. New growth in the south does not affect us(too far away) and we have no reason to south of Brownwood and hardly go there. We have more here than we really need,

I've been coming to visit TV since 2012, I purchased my first home in 2019, my second in 2020 and have lived here full time for almost 3. I turned 56 last month.

A lot of the original residents have moved on one way or another.

We did not stay for the conversation. But it wasn't going to be pleasant.

While resting at the Eisenhower Rec. Center, there was a women painting the door so the side door was being used. A woman came hurrying in carrying a bucket and a pilates ball and decided to hit the automatic door opener. The door opened and hit the painter in the head. And the women scurried into the side door.

All of this happened in one morning, and we figured out that the snowbirds had returned. Please be warned to watch out for the faster paced snowbirds. They need to decompress and adjust to the pace down here before more injuries occur. You have been warned, they may also need an attitude adjustment, please give them time to re-adjust.

That’s a pretty big assumption on your part. No way you could know without asking if they are snowbirds or not. Serious bikers are not out for a joyride. They are out for serious exercise. Not in a hurry, but rather staying fit through exercise is their way to relax. Until they encounter some pesky driver who puts their life in danger. You don’t know who’s mistake it was when the biker and car collided. Interesting your criticism is about 3 people with intentions for a good workout.

I am a snow bird and I find I have to adjust to a much more lively life style when I get back to the Villages. I find it more boring up north. I miss all the golf, I miss my golf cart and rides every day, I miss all the live music and the squares. And I find it funny that you think all rude people are snow birds. Just saying !!

The man on the bike hit the left rear side of the car, it was damaged there, he obviously

The golf car that passed the biker going over the highway bridge came close to him in a no pass zone and the women going to workout looked at the painted and then still pressed the auto door............

These 3 workout people were not focused properly or bad things would not have happened. Some answers just call them stupid people, inconsiderate is a better word,
With the starting influx of snowbirds they are still getting used to the bubble again and have an adjustment period. An assumption on snowbirds of course, maybe wrong, we are grateful to them for leaving the place to the frogs for 1/2 of the year.

As the population grows people need to be more careful. Thats the point.

This is my 3rd time as a renter in TV, I rent from mid-September to early April. I chose this time frame so that I can experience the busy period when the population in TV is at its greatest. I have still not decided if I am going to make TV my final stop when I retire in a year or two based on what I have learned during my previous two rental periods. It’s a shame that there is a certain segment of the TV population that always finds something to complain about while pointing a finger at snowbirds or part-time renters. Is life for you that boring that you feel the need to seek out, identify and document the drawbacks of being a snowbird? Instead of complaining, how about making an effort to communicate with them, you just might make a new friend.

Please tell your neighbors. Many of them seem to believe that the southern growth has ruined their lives.
