If the policy of the store is not displayed it cannot be enforced by anyone. Were there signs?. If another customer tries to enforce them in a manner that is so rude they can be ask to leave and trespassed. In the future you might want to ask for a manager if you are treated poorly by anyone in the store.

Remember the security guard shot to death yesterday for asking a person to put a mask on before entering the store. The customer’s family and friends felt she was disrespected and killed him. Yes .. there are people who don't realize that the main purpose of the mask is to prevent a "sneeze cloud" from spreading and additionally as a reminder to keep one's hands off the face.

We should remember that a lot of people are under stress and may over-react. We need to have compassion for the crazy people out there. They are destroying their own immune system ... make sure we don't over-react to them and damage our own with worry.
