This is just my opinion and it's worth what you paid for it, lol. It appears to me that the latest variant is quite a bit less lethal. Tracking new cases is becoming like tracking new cases of the common cold.

So, to summarize A company is withing their rights to insist that all employees be vaxed or tested regularly. A person can refuse to be vaxed and or tested if they chose. If the company and the person cannot find common ground, they are free to part ways "Common ground" might include "the company agrees to pay for testing" or in might not. No one is forced to do anything. |

Where are these "better paying jobs"?
"According to Glassdoor, baristas at Starbucks typically make between $10 and $15 an hour. But hourly wages are hardly what makes this company so great to work for. Starbucks also offers healthcare benefits for both part- and full-time workers, along with 401(k) matching, and discounted stock options for company shares"...

Starbucks has some of the lowest paying positions in the industry right now...(up north) people are going across the street to Dunkin and getting $18/hr PLUS benefits if over 30 hrs/wk. The company talks big about equity, fairness and fair trade but...you fill in the blanks.

Good luck finding the tests. My Mom is in Assisted Living. Each week, before going in to see her, the front desk nurse would give me the 15 minute nose swab test. For the past three weeks I have had to bring a sealed box/test to the facility, where they did the test. They were unable to obtain them. I have been unable to find any as well.

Here’s one better —- Starbucks at Sumter Landing today has a sign: “New Hours: 5 am - 11 am”. Really - 11 am????? What a shame. Guess I’ll go to Dunkin’ from now on for coffee drinks.

Explain to me how they're getting paid to sit on their asses? Unemployment is maxed at $275 a week in Florida and you have to qualify. There hasn't been any extra unemployment money in Florida since June. So I'd like to know where you think "they're" (who's they're anyway?) getting money.

The vaccines are effective at keeping people from being hospitalized. Most people hospitalized with Covid are UN-vaccinated. What is it going to take for people to understand what the vaccines are meant to do. These mRNA vaccines are not sterilizing vaccines which do prevent the spread of a disease. These vaccines were developed to keep people out of the hospital and to prevent most people from dying of Covid. They do what they were developed to do.
Maybe in the future there will be a sterilizing vaccine to prevent transmission of the virus. By the way......."sterilizing" does not mean sterilizing a human, it means sterilizing the virus.
