$20 for cabin air filters at the two year point. Model Y performance so tires are different sizes thus no rotation.

I did some checking and only the performance model has staggered tire size. The std. size for all other models is 255-45X19 or optional 255-40X20.

If the car was self driving, it would not have wound up in the water. The woman drove herself in the water. Statistics show self driving vehicles are involved in fewer crashes and injury than people driven vehicles. 68% lower overall crash rate and a 81% reduction in injury crashes. The fear of self driving vehicles is an emotional issue not a statistical one.

only if you believe that the source of those particular statistics are accurate. Consumer Reports does not have the same statistics, if i remember correctly, and I might not be

I was wondering if your were in FSD and pulling a trailer on a trip and had to stop at a Tesla charging station what would the car do? Maybe with a trailer attached it would not operate in FSD, I don’t really know.

I remember it the way you do but using NHTSA data.

I have a 2026 Tucson hybrid. Be careful what you wish for. With only 3400 miles my transmission slips. Hyundai refuses to acknowledge the issue. It is now well documented across the internet that this is a common problem. Brought it in along with a recall(already) and they say the computer shows no error code. How about a human error code, i drive it every day, oh that doesn't count, what do humans know? I also hear the dual clutch on the 8 speed non hybrid has been a absolute nightmare.

EVs just make sense for retirees in Florida. Also, look at Toyota/Subaru latest EV offerings.

Also, crude oil bubbles up from the earth and resides FAR deeper than any fossil. Hydrocarbons are not "Fossil Fuel". Fossil fuel is a 150 year old myth.
Toyota/Subaru EV'S do not have full self driving. That is why Tesla is stomping all the other EV's out there.
The FSD function is what sells Tesla.

Back in Northern MN in the 1960's, that there was a law in the town of Mt. Iron that limited the speed of automobiles in town to (as I recall) eight miles per hour. The "reasoning" behind that was that any speed faster than that would spook the horses which apparently made up the bulk of the road traffic of the time. It may have been enforced back in 1910 or so but it quickly became obsolete, just never had been taken off the books.

You can't stuff the genie back into the bottle.
His rocket car is nothing but a tech demo, there is ZERO chance that car goes into production. It's more BS from the king of BS.

No insurance company would write a policy on something like that, and if they did, people would immediately start showing up in morgues with traumatic brain injuries and broken spines.

Some places have pull thru chargers that make it easy. But some don’t and you have to disconnect, charge, then reconnect. And if it’s a decent sized trailer you need to do it every 100 miles. So that can be an enormous amount of trouble. One 500 mile trip annually is one thing but if we’re talking real towing then it’s hard to beat the f250 or similar.

That woman had an older Tesla that didn't have FSD. If she had a newer Tesla with FSD the car would have just pulled over when it noticed her not paying attention due to her medical emergency.

I easily installed a Splitter in my garage attached to my 240 volt dryer outlet. Tops up my battery in a few hours.

Not mentioned so far is insurance. I have State Farm auto which gives me a discount if I use a tracker. With FSD my driving stats (acceleration, braking, cornering, speed, etc) are approaching perfect.

Life is good.
Just how much is insurance for your Tesla. Let’s see how good.

Remind me again which of these marvels of technology is BS:

Tesla
Space X
Neuralink
Starlink
The Boring Co
