Janice and I just got back from a wonderful dinner with Jimbo and his lovely spouse! They got to the house at about 4:30 and we sat on the lanaifor a while and just talked. They then got a personal tour of all of your homes and a look at A-4's sandlot. We then retired to Ruby Thai at LSL for some great food and more fantastic conversation! Jimbo is as smart as he sounds on TOTV...lol and Cathy is a wonderful lady! Just another confirmation that this is gonna be a great place!!!

I'm new! Have a design appt Dec 26 for 2961 Amherst Way. Hole 3 of Destin course...I met Andy and Wendy yesterday, who told me about this site and the Weds gathering. Looking forward to it! Kitty

Welcome, Kitty! My husband and I are at 2999 Amherst. We are at the not-friendly tee to hole 3 so you must be just up the road from us! We settle on 12-20-12.

Welcome Kitty! We think that Gilchrist is shaping up to be a fine neighborhood, indeed! We have an international flavor, military outlooks, police presence and just about the friendliest group of people you'll find anywhere!!



We also seem to have been given sort of a "party place" reputation but hey...whatcha gonna do. I guess we'll have to party just to keep up with the rep!!!

The pictures you sent me of that lot before I picked it were of a lush green beauty. When I saw the pictures I told Cathy "OMG, that lot looks like a well manicured fairway". (Got you puckered up . . . . haven't I )

You're absolutely right...I took a pic of the wrong lot. Your lot is right next door to the one I shot and it is a verdant, lush green lot that is fit for a king!!!

Don't worry about Wed night. It's just a warm up for the real thing!!! I absolutely promise that none of us will have a good time without you!!!

Wow! You guys have a house. I can't believe how much progress has been made!!! Tile in the kitchen, livingroom, hallway and baths. Paint in the interior and the exterior is about 80% done. The driveway and walkway has also been poured. The tile layers were hard at work in the master bathroom. You are really getting there!!!
