Ronda: Stop counting, all you are doing by keeping score is to be aware of the dam cigarrettes. Forget them, get busy with something else. And..................UNDER NO CIRCUNSTANCE TAKE A PUFF OR LIGHT ONE (JUST ONE), YOU WILLL FALL BACK. I have been there.

Rok

Do whatever you have to do to keep on track...whether it be counting the hours or keeping busy. You know best what helps you and g/f...even though I smoke...I wish I were in your shoes right know.

Keep it up...I'm so proud of you!

No dirty ashtrays, no lighters, no matches, everything is gone. Lysol everywhere, only smoked in 1 room indoors and not often, so that will be easy! For me, counting hours is ok, ...... because every time I reach a new goal I keep reading all the benefits I have already accomplished and I never want to smoke ever again! As you can see, encouragement is overwhelmimg here and at home, hubby couldn't be happier right now! He quite 29 years ago and knows I've tried! I am in a place and time in my life that I feel truly blessed and I need to do this for ME! wooohooo

I had to add my 2 cents Ronda. I quit in 1990 also after a bad bout with the flu and 7 days in intensive care. Just think of how far you've come! And if you ever think about just one little puff, remember that you'd have to start from 0 again. You can do it!!! Make sure to dance a little to celebrate! you deserve it.
