A lot of the objection to LIV appears to be over the Saudi connection. If LIV were sponsored by Musk, Bezos, or Gates instead of the Saudis, would you have any objection to LIV?

Really???? Food trucks, tables and a band are a substitute for the best players in the world?

The LIV tour consists of a few top players, many of whom have sustained serious injuries, several has beens that are at the end of their careers and a lot of players mini tour players.
It’s simply another minor league with a few big names who have been paid a huge amount of money, sprinkled in.
The PGA Tour doesn’t need to resort to gimmicks to draw massive crowds.

I personally don’t object to the LIV Tour or any other tour. What I object to is players that have signed a contract to abide by PGA Tour rules, break those and expect to continue to play in PGA Tour events.

I believe the best entertainment will be in the courts. I just hope it will be televised.

Call us the over the hill crowd and not target audience but "target audience" is not showing up. No use for anything to do with LIV or the golfers that ran there. See ya Phil and who cares

Hopefully, they did at least pay their respects to the newest golf course resident 6 feet under! LOL

Holding a Saudi tour event where the twin towers once cast their shadows is probably not the ideal location for them. Do they draw crowds in other locations? I have no idea.

Target audience per writer is the younger crowd. Oops I meant the crowd who uses the Smart Phone 8 hours out of their awake time. Hate to say it but golf will resume going down in popularity very soon. There was an uptick during Covid and it will now go back down,

However I always love professional sport controversies.

Perhaps yes, but why not have competition if it works and finances and fans support?

I’m all for competition in this country. It typically results in lower prices snd better products and services.

it's called Economics 101. if a person doesn't understand the basics of capitalism perhaps they might go online before posting what is the obvious reason...what's odd is why someone thinks it's odd at all.
