In addition to what GoodLife said, transferring to another container, reheating and/or microwaving further mitigates the risk.

Standing outside in a breeze is a different dynamic than inside.

I try to imagine people are smoking and try to stand where I would not be in the smoke.

I too was at Red Sauce. Total disaster. I left with no food. Not worth the risk. Went to Paisanos where it was well organized and social distancing was practiced.

What nobody has mentioned is that Red Sauce and Glenview (same owners) had BOGO special the last two days. What the heck did you expect the response would be. Shame on you for not anticipating the huge lines!

Does not justify non adherence to safety guidelines (even less than 100).

We pre-paid, including tip, on our credit card and began our journey. After getting some gas and dropping off our bills at the post office, we pulled into the Q in the parking lot. When we got to the front of the line (about a 5 minute wait) a very friendly women wearing a mask brought out our food, we popped the trunk open and she put in our food and waived goodby to us as we drove away. The food was delicious. I wish this could be the new normal, too good. However, the resturants can't make a living this way long term, so things will eventually have to get back to whatever the new normal will eventually look like?
Well, I feel like driving to “county line barbecue” but closest one in Austin Tx.

Thing one BIGGEST offensive comment to me on this whole thread is ONLY 12 have died in the area. Could you be any less caring or more hurtful to the families that lost someone with such a comment.
We lost our Uncle who was 102. He died in March we got many condolences and not 1said thankfully “he’s the only 1”.
The most heartbreaking was he died alone AND without the benefit of LAST RITES.
Poster needs to rethink the use of ONLY when it comes to human lives. Very me myself and I.

Safer at places that are not offering BOGO BuyOneGetOne

Sorry I can’t believe that intelligent people think the restaurant is the SD police.

They all have line to stand in, apparently customers choose not to adhere to them. If you were crowded with multitude of people and did not keep SD, then you are at fault. Not the establishment.

You had two choices, wait a safe distance away from the masses, or leave because you felt unsafe.

So if no increase in Covid numbers in the nest 3 weeks, then this was only the first test, more to come

Social distancing? Non existent....except for those few with masks.

ALL others were belt buckle to back pocket, shoulder to shoulder.

It is that complete disregard for the guidelines that will cause the return to businesses opening to be a failure.

Very disappointing.

Shame on Red Sauce lack of management!
Welcome to the Villages. Can't fix stupid!!!!
