I passed along the link to family etc but now (6:45 pm Sat.) it does not appear to be working. Is that the case or do I have a technical problem? I have been mesmerized by the family.

Default web cam experiencing technical difficulties

Yes, they are having technical problems. If you notice to the right of the cam photo, there is an ongoing moderated discussion. That is how I discovered the cam was down. I've been watching regularly for a couple of days. Hypnotized really. The questions and answers are informative. You can scroll through the discussion and get lots of good info.

It's still down. Watched Mom feeding one of the Eaglets earlier this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be back up and running tomorrow. Don't forget to spring forward.

The dad provided lunch today, looked like a huge fish?? It is strange to me that the babies' "undeveloped" digestive systems can process raw fish. I watched the mom feed the babies, so cute to see their little fuzzy heads bouncing around.

And the mom is so careful when she settles down to keep them warm.

The largest eaglet seems to push the other two babies out of the way to get more food. But the mother makes sure they all get fed.

Some facts I've learned from watching the website.

Apparently the nest is the size of a queen-size bed! Eagles mate for life. But in this case the mother eagle is around 12 and was previously mated to an eagle who was killed by an airplane. She has had several broods of eglets with her new mate. He seems to be doing a good job bringing her food and new straw for the nest ... I guess she'll keep him around.

Back to the website. So cute.

Thanks for the original posting. This is so cool and interesting. The Q&A have taught me alot within the last 4 days. I have passed this on to relatives with small kids....and lots of schools. What a great educational experience for kids and ADULTS. Thanks again for the post.

I know. I am watching too. I'm shocked how fast they are growing. They can hold their heads up so much better in such a short period of time.

Hey, waddup with the new pix? I like it!

Wasn't that awesome. They are really starting to take shape. New pix: for the love of books!

You are so welcome for the original "heads up". The only thing that makes the Eagle Cam more enjoyable .. is sharing it with others.

Can someone check the sight for me and see if they are saying anything about something being wrong? Both of the eagles are sitting on the side of the nest and looking down into it and I can't see the eaglets. I'm concerned something has happened to one of them. I can't read the blog on the side while I am here at work to see what comments are being made. I'd appreciate it if someone could look and let me know....Thanks in advance!
