I don't like some of the things Trump says and does. however if I were Trump I would also refuse to talk to the press their mostly jackals

You make some good points. Thank you.

This makes no sense. The substance of this thread is the remarks made by Bob Corker and the differing public orations between POTUS and his Secy of state and Secy defense.

None of that is conjecture, but established facts.

I also object to responses that attack the messenger. The media reports. This administration continually and always attacks as fake news, NOT ONLY NEVER PROVEN, NO ATTEMPT TO VALIDATE ONGOING ACCUSATIONS.

His attacks on the media do not change facts. It is intended to confuse and obviously is working with you. He attacks any network if they catch him, but then will quote the same network if they say something good. He simply makes accusations and you accept it as fact. I do not and Che k and recheck. He is,playing you.

This man is contemptible. I do hope that the Moderator looks at the TOTV NFL Football Survivor League and Pick-Em and notes how despicable some people were-- probable this creep and his group of trolls-- with the names they put into the pool. Rotten to the core.

I have him on my IGNORE LIST because I am well aware of his constant personal attacks. This scumbag has been doing this for at least six months.

IT is CRIMINAL HARASSMENT and he and his buddies should be held accountable by the law.

I just noticed that today President Trump wants congress to actually investigate what he calls fake news.

He actually wants congress to investigate any negative stories about him.

He can make theses accusations on an international stage but never giving any credible evidence.

This guy has no conscience. The long list of his lies continue to grow and he wants some sort of validation for being a President that we cannot trust.

"President Donald Trump urged Congress Thursday morning to launch an investigation of the news media, wondering online “why so much of our news is just made up.”
[/B]
“Why Isn't the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!” the president wrote on Twitter Thursday morning. He did not single out a specific story or media outlet that he believed to be guilty of inaccurate reporting.

Trump’s “fake news” complaints have been a staple of his political rhetoric, a label he often applied to stories that feature negative reporting about him or his presidency. Most recently, Trump has railed against reports that have characterized his administration’s hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico as inadequate, as well as against an NBC News report that Secretary
of State Rex Tillerson called the president a moron” over the summer and nearly resigned.

Another frequent “fake news” target for Trump has been the multiple ongoing investigations into Russian interference in last year’s presidential election, one of which is being conducted by the Senate Intelligence Committee. The president often refers to those investigations collectively as a “hoax” or a “witch hunt.”

Sens. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.), the chairman and vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said at a press conference Wednesday that they remain in the investigatory phase of their probe, having already conducted hundreds of hours of interviews with more scheduled for this month. The question of whether or not either Trump's or Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign colluded with the Russian government remains open, they said, adding that the Kremlin's election meddling efforts are ongoing around the world."

Established facts?!? Corker did not admit to anything - a lot of innuendo was about it. Now the reporter, on the other hand, did a lot of embellishing to make it sound like fact. Are we reading the same articles?? I'll repeat........I'm not saying that this may not be true, but I would need more evidence than what I've seen so far to be convinced. Just as I double-checked and tried to verify the stuff being said about our former President before drawing a conclusion, I will continue to do the same with this one. It's not about being duped by someone as you suggested, or wanting to push an agenda, it's about caring about the truth - as much as that is possible not being on the inside.

his makes no sense....I was not speaking about Tillerson but responding to the comments in Post #14.

But returning to this makes no sense....does it make sense and are journalists doing their jobs by focusing their entirety to asking/ inquiring about tabloid matters. they cover presidential politics they way they do Hollywood celebrities .

Tillerson made it clear he would not engage in pettiness. what he was saying is if you want to ask what the Trump's Administration policy/plan/philosophy is concerning N Korea, Syria please ask

I don't care if there are battles going on in the White House because there have always been battles gong for power etc.

I believe I am with the majority when I say I am sick of the pettiness of journalist, their negative and fake narratives and their left leaning bias. I am looking for the truth, balance and objective information upon which to make my decision and on which I may want to act.

I don't like some of Trump's off the cuff comments and I am surprised given his educational background and successes that he has never refined his speaking skills. However there are successes in the Trump White House but the left buries them underneath all of their accusations and conspiracy theories and the like.

Given Congress. NFL players and the media as to negative opinions ,lawyers are beginning to rise in the list

I believe that the President has never had much use for long speeches in his business world. I am just guessing but he seems to be more of an action guy than a speech type of guy. He would rather get things done and not waste time BSing when there is work to be done. He may not be much of a diplomat but I believe that is the main reason he was elected. Other than many just did not trust another Clinton in the White House.

I think you are listening to...not sure what, but you are wrong..

Despite President Trump’s repeated accusations that the media pushes nothing but “fake news,” Americans are trusting the media more and the president less nearly nine months after he was sworn in, according to a new poll.

Americans are trusting the media more and Trump less: poll | New York Post

He has no legislative victories at all, and your mention of the NFL indicates as everyone is saying. He is manufacturing culture wars that are non existent without followers like you reacting to him. He very seldom even talks about legislating or governing. Just attacks and maligns. Corker was right and Tillerson was right. I can only imagine the anger of Tillerson watching that exhibition at the Boy Scout Jamboree which caught the attention of the world.
