We definitely agree with you. Scotty is the one but Lauren will go far.

Thumbs up Great Season!

I've never been happier with a season of American Idol! I can see at least 5 superstars (all in different genres) coming out of this group! I was rooting for James, but really don't care who wins. Both are on my "superstar" list. Scotty couldn't be more American if he tried! And Lauren is a cute as a button. Both singing talents are amazing at such a young age!!! Wow!!

I'm happy to say we got tickets for the Live Tour. Never went out of my way before, but this group is spectacular!

I especially like the part in this article of what Scotty told his eight grade teacher what his philosophy on life was (when he was in the eighth grade). How grounded can you be ? His parents must be wonderful.

Cathy King, who taught Scotty in eighth grade at West Lake Middle School in Apex, had her students write a biography of themselves. She still has part of Scotty's: "My philosophy of life is simple. Please God, work, provide for your family and help others."

You're welcome 2BNTV. Jimmy Iovine signed Miss Toscano, and with his guidance i'm sure you'll be seeing her around, and hearing her on the radio.

Lauren better belt them out tonight and not hold back, because you know Scotty will be in his usual top form. I still expect him to win, but Lauren can change minds if she's fearless.

Default American Idol

Well we know Scotty and Alaina were in the finals and a new season will begin next month.

But if you haven't seen this video it's pretty cool!

Default What is Scotty Up to these Days ?

I live within 20 miles of the McCreery's and as you can imagine Scotty is in the news quite often around here. He is trying to lead as normal a life as he can, attending his high school as much as possible as well as other things. His life is very busy. I thought you Scotty fans would find the 2 videos i am posting here of interest. One of him performing a service project at the church he has always attended and the other of him performing at his high school's Christmas performance earlier this week. A kid with 2 Gold Records so far just trying to lead as normal a life as possible.

Default Any favorites with Season 11 of American Idol?

Now that they whittled the crowd to just 13, anyone have any favorites in the current crop of American Idol?

No one really captures my interest just yet. Probably too early in the game.

I just watched it last night for the first time this year...they narrowed 25 top contestants to the top 10 and then they added 3 of the judge's choices after 6 were picked to sing their hearts out to qualify. I am amazed as always at the degree of talent these youngsters possess and am now hooked...I'll have to continue watching to see who remains. (Maybe because I would be too shy to even sing kareoke ?sp. the poise and stage presence they exhibit at such a young age amazes me. It's fun to watch them grow over the course of the season also. I am glad that the judges seem to be much kinder now also)

Need to see them sing next week to pick favorites. I have my eyes on a few but I need to pay more attention.

For the guys; Phil Philips (very original)

For the girls; Jessica Sanchez (great voice control on her power vocals)

Right now I like Hollie Cavanagh from the girls. Do not really have a stand out from the boys.
