My nephew David in New York saw James Durbin outside the studios of Regis & Kelly and got this picture with him that he shared on Facebook.

I also missed James tonight. Scotty and James are both unique performers. The two girls, Lauren and Haley, are both lovely and very talented, but I don't find them to be really unique.

Cool

I think Lauren has it "in the bag".

Haley was amazing, but I think her Zeppelin song will not help her cause. Of course, Haley might think she will pull in James' votes this week....maybe so. Her other 2 songs were not so amazing, in my opinion.

Scotty.... has all the tools, but in the end, will not get the votes to win it. He'll have an amazing country career without Idol.

My prediction: Haley goes home tonight...

I think it could easily be Scotty tonight. Missed a few notes on his first song and the other two were just the same ole thang. Nice kid, good voice -- he'll go far.

Lauren also missed some notes. For 16, she's amazing but really boring to me. Only thing I find interesting is her hair. Haven't seen a frosted job like that since the 70s (sorry). A one-hit wonder?

Not a Haley fan -- growling only goes so far, but I think she should win it all. At least she's interesting. Another Ruben (whom I loved -- called him to win it in his audition).

Have to disagree with you and the posts above yours. Scotty is the next American Idol. I would wager the voting isn't even close. It'll be Lauren or Haley who comes in last tonight.

I think it should be Lauren because she always holds back and is thinking too much when she sings, and I'm always left wanting more. Haley is a flat out performer. She takes control of that stage and beautifully belts out those songs with style and intensity.

Because of what happened to James, I think it'll be Haley who garners the fewest votes tonight. I hope I'm wrong, though, and Haley is there at the end with Scotty.

Default Haley!

My vote goes to Haley. She seems to be the only one who is consistantly taking chances with her song choices. She slayes most of them and commands the stage in the process. Doing so she proves every week she belongs at the top. Yo GaDawg says, She's In It to Win It!!

Don't see what missing notes etc has to do with the voting. No one really thinks that the vast majority of voters base their votes on talent do you? Only one season had two women and that was way back in season 3. Young girls do most of the voting.

Scotty will be the winner. Lauren goes home tonight.

I heard on the radio some hollywoodxxx.com has it 45% Scotty, 31% Haley balance Lauren.
