Well maybe you have Facebook Friends who are interested in how you're doing now that you're a full-timer but you never write to them to keep them updated.

I love Facebook, but I don't get involved with the applications (games and such) because I don't want to get addicted to those. I want to have lots of extra time to spend on TOTV!! FB is a great way to stay connected with family and friends. Love it!

I'm theoretically a FB user, but I don't use it. Does that make sense? Well, my wife was addicted to Farmtown, Farmville and some others. She needed more names to get points with, so she signed me up. I personally don't see the need to know whenever someone goes to the grocery store or the drug store or took the kids to the Dr. or any of that other crap. If I want to talk to someone, I will e-mail or call on the phone. We do use Skype though. That is wonderful.

I use facebook and I love it to stay in touch with family and friends. I would like to know more about skype. Does is cost for this? Do you need a webcam?

you do need a webcam if you want visual...and it's free. I've used it a few times with my daughter out in Indiana, and other people. I even used it in my writer's group here in CT when one of the members couldn't make it because of illness. Not that hard to use...

use FB. I am fearful that the company that owns the site coud make your personal information public. Or sell it to others. I don't think it is a secure site. Prove me wrong.

I use it but only once or twice a month and also limit what I put on Facebook a great deal.

Yes , I use face book, love getting the latest photos of my grand daughter.
We use gmail for our web cams and I just saw her walk for the first time. 50 weeks, Priceless!
