Best thing to do is to open the emergency hatch and exit by way of a wing...

The FAA has adopted a zero tolerance policy with regard to unruly passengers. Violations can be as minor as failing to follow the instructions of a flight attendant. Penalties can include a criminal charge of Interfering With Flight Crew (a Federal felony), being placed on the FAA No Fly list, and a fine of $9,000 to $15,000.

I used to travel for business every other week and yes I have seen unruly passengers. Most of the the issues are on the ground when flights are delayed or cancelled, and during boarding when people are trying to stuff something in the overhead that just wont fit. I was upgraded to first class once on a domestic flight and the man seated next to me was VERY rude and unpleasant. Kept demanding drinks while we were waiting our turn for takeoff. Called the flight attendant lazy but with more colorful language. I was mortified.

I guess forced mask wearing is causing some of it and the mask police also not helping.by the way I fly about every 3rd month and one international in august.
It can be any flight any time anywhere. The crazies don't always fly the same airlines to the same place.

I don't dare post the song, but for those who are wondering what you're talking about, just go to YouTube and type in - "Frankie goes to Hollywood + relax."

Default Honestly....

Just as you all are responding to this post is exactly what happens on airplanes! Not to mention how people behave in airports. I retired from aviation after 40 years and should have written a book. As ground crew I would deny boarding to people would would not be human so the inflight crew would not have to deal with them and divert the aircraft. Please remember the manners your parents taught you, and if they didn't take a course in how to be nice and deal with other humans.

[QUOTE=Calisport;2011863]Has anyone ever seen fist fights and yelling on flights like the news is reporting?
We were on a necessary flight to California to move my then very pregnant daughter to her family's new Air Force station assignment in the height of the pandemic. We purchase first class seats for ourselves, our daughter and her then 18 month old daughter. Everyone on the plane was immensely aware of the protocols. Most unfortunately, the arrogant ***seated behind us decided he didn't need to mask. After repeated reminders from the flight attendant, he then verbally attacked the poor guy yelling "do you know whomI am? I have over 100,000 miles on this airline. I'll report you for harassment". (Meanwhile, my husband is a million miles customer -and he had his mask on) to add insult to injury, he didn't put his tray table up at landing or move his drink which proceeded to spill all over his seat mate. He laughed. Needless to say his seat mate did not. There are many out there who believe they are above the law. It becomes a problem when their behavior could adversely effect you and your family.

Just because you haven't seen any disturbances on flights, or anyone who responds to you doesn't mean that they don't exist. You must think the media and flight attendants are making the whole thing up. Your comments are sad!
