Have you ever tried to clean up dog's diarrhea on your lawn - let's see if you can get it all? This attracts all the others for weeks to this spot. Stay off neighbors lawns!
Dog owners - please reply as to why you think you have the right to use property you don't own as your dogs bathroom? Bet you -no dog owner will answer this!!!!!!

So that works 2 times a week, what happens the other 5 days.

This topic will come up AS LONG AS people let their dogs on other people’s lawns. Why is it so hard to understand for those dog owners that most people don’t like it?

I'll answer that. Don't paint all dog owners with the same brush. Blanket accusations never hold up.
I invite anyone with a gripe about dogs to come live in Tamarind Grove. We've been here 11 years and have seen ONE dog on our lawn. Once.
Our dog, bless his sweet soul, was always walked down the middle of the street. If it was too hot, he was walked at night.
Sick of these assumptions that every dog owner is irresponsible.

I question the claim that the property along the road is an easement and does not belong to the homeowner. If the easement isn't my property, then I don't have to mow the grass. Yeah, right!! See how long it takes the ladies in the red golf cart to lodge a complaint.

Here is a definition of "easement" I found:

Easement
An easement is a nonpossessory right to use and/or enter onto the real property of another without possessing it. It is "best typified in the right of way which one landowner, A, may enjoy over the land of another, B". It is similar to real covenants and equitable servitudes; in the United States, the Restatement (Third) of Property takes steps to merge these concepts as servitudes.

Says nothing about the easement not being the property of the landowner. You are still trespassing when you step onto the easement.

Why don't you ask him where does his sprinkler lines sit?
If he maintains that "actual property" you talk about, then he has every right to complain!

Not over reacting, imho. Small inconvenience? Someone has taken possession of your property without permission, and used it. Same principle as taking possession of your car, with out your permission, for a joyride then returning it to where they found it. Imo, you are trying to make light of a situation that to many is very unpleasant, to say the least.
I disagree with you on this. I am pretty sure the law would also not agree that having one's dog defecate on someone's lawn is a transgression equal to "borrowing" someone's car. Yep, pretty sure about that.
Furthermore, I don't think stepping onto someone's lawn is trespassing, unless a "no trespassing" sign is prominently displayed. I could be wrong on that one, but I think it is so.
I stand by my statement that equating dog poop to car stealing, and trespass is "over reacting"...but, hey, that's just me.

Not cleaning it up, or continuing to do it despite cleaning it up after being asked not to, is IMO rude and being a bad neighbor.

The friendliest community in America.
You get all the way to retirement and sit around and think of ways to complain.

I’ve owned pets throughout my life, and it never let them go to the bathroom and someone else’s yard.
Let the dogs do what they do if the owners pick up. It will make the grass healthier. Worry about real issues if you must.

Sorry. I lived on corner lot for many years. Never bothered me or my yard as long as they pick up after dog. Walking a dog, they smell & mark areas. No big deal. I had more issues with the adults, driving their golf carts, cars, etc onto the property & tearing up the grass!

It is a everyday battle to keep the rude dog owners off my lawn. You just have to confront them with one warning, then file a complaint with the "silent" SCS Office(good luck). I hoped the district put as much effort in helping owners keep dogs off lawns as
they do trying to keep "little white" crosses off lawns. CDD 8 supervisors should be ashamed of themselves...get your head on straight. Oh, I forgot, they have to appease the new DM and the developer!! Wake up folks!!

Please forgive me if the answer is obvious but isn't the island in the cul-de-sac considered common property?
