A vaccine or treatment and it will diminish - no one has to be locked away forever - and just a few comments - my ex husband and his 2 adult children just admitted with Covid 19. His wife and family thought they too could be out and about and now look what happened - my ex has had 2 open heart surgeries and diabetes - will he make it - who knows - so you sir go out and about and resume your life ! This cavalier attitude is so unappealing

Just saw the Governor tell us on TV that hair salons and barbershops will remain closed. I guess I better get a Tee shirt that identifies me as HUMAN. Interestingly, his hair looks the same as it did in March although he said he hadn't had a haircut since Feb

Restaurants reopening with restrictions. Twenty-five percent indoor capacity. No bars.

Gyms remain closed.

Public gatherings limited to ten folks or less

I love that he had not had a haircut since February and how all of those giving such bad stats for Florida always look like they had just had a trim. pretty funny

Default difference between a bar and a restaurant

Even though i consider many places in the Squares to be bars that serve food .. I'm okay with restating that to fall in the governor's guideline .. If a place charges for peanuts and pours me a Jack, I'm happy with agreeing that it counts as a restaurant that serves adult beverages. Those that disagree are free to stay away from such establishments, as they probably didn't frequent before anyway.

Staying in the house just delays the reality that you will be exposed to this virus just as with many other viruses or bacterias. Heard a doctor say yesterday that until we reach herd immunity this will not start to fizzle out. That can’t happen if people stay locked away. I am 70 years old and I’m ready to get back out there and start living my villages life again.
We have age as one major factor against us.

Since I have a couple of comorbidities my return to normal life isn’t going to happen.
So as much as I want to be out and about I am at very high risk.
I’m sure many of us have medical conditions that put us at higher risk than most.
The answer is not as simple for many of us as one might think.

No one has a definite answer for each individual. Our President and Governor are doing their best.

The Japanese have been wearing face masks in public for decades. They are very crowded, therefore they bath and wear masks so as to not be offensive to all those in close proximity to them when they are out and about. If you feel frightened that you might catch the flu or virus when you are out and about, then wear your mask.
The Japanese do not wear face masks. Have you been to Japan? I have several times including less than a year ago. Please don't post untrue statements.

Take back the streets! What can they do, tear gas us? Fire rubber bullets? Or worse...pull a Kent State?

I ride the Metro in DC when I am up there for work and I have always seen the majority of Asians wearing masks
