What is sad is the impact on the family. He made his choice for himself. But also for his family. Let us hope there is some worthy role model to show the the right way.

Such an accurate assessment. Thanks BTK

His main problem can be summed up in two words - the Kardashians. That is one f/u family there.

No, his problem is bad choices. Nobody put him there but himself.

You're right, anything that makes life unmanageable is a bad deal. Addiction is a terrible burden. Some people with an addictive personality just don't seem to have the strength or motivation to conquer their addictions. Sad.

Default Call me heartless but

Call me heartless but once I found out who this guy is and what he did I just did a blink and deflate.

How many times must this scenario be repeated until people finally figure out that illegal drugs or misused legal drugs are very dangerous.

I personally do not think it helps society to elevate people like Lamar to sainthood . Its no different to me then making a celerity out of a Columbine mass killer.

Perhaps as a society we ought to tell it like it is. Tragedies like this out to be instructive. You want to play with fire then you will eventually get burned.

Too many Americans today seem to have forgotten about the hard facts of life. They cannot make a connection between their irresponsible behavior and consequences

I agree,,

what is so wrong with his situation, is now khloe wants to act like how he was her life, and loves him so much. GIVE ME A BREAK,,,, Now that this has happened,, she jumps to limelight..

This situation is SAD in the way that a life has gone this way,, For anyone to end up like that, Crazy how many people go this route but you do not hear of it till they are a celebrity or pro athlete.

I agree with the other poster, I hope Robert is not turning in his grave. he was a great person, would think he would not have wanted his name all over TV and the media the way those girls and exwife have put it. JUST MHO.

Not being much of a sports fan I had never heard of him. As I see it he made some very bad choices and is simply paying the price. So much of the news is about what notorious acts various celebrities are committing I usually ignore it. Had not GG started this thread I still would not have heard of him since such news is on my personal "ignore" list.

On the record: Proceed at your own risk, there are those that take offense at humor under these circumstances. Of course , they will probably move on to respond to those that post it was his own fault

Off the record: Good one!

ok
The truth is I don't know any of those names or anything about the story. I'll read up on it now. I never mean to offend anyone at anytime and apologise if I did.
Frodo and Hobbit sounds like Fredo and habit and I went for it.
