Killing/removing of predators is one way. Humans are involved in most cases. Over breeding. Humans. Species introduced into ner areas, causing unforseen consequences. Humans.
Anywhere humans go they alter their surroundings. The more humans, the greater the alterations.
Once, we were a part of nature. Now, we (8 billion and growing exponentially) have become a force of nature. Great, powerful in our destruction and reshaping of our planet. Like a child with a gun, they realize they have something powerful, but they can't begin to comprehend the never ending list of consequences of their potential choices of action.

We agree more often than you might suspect, but not always for the same reasons. The important thing is, regardless of differences we can still be friends.

One thing I can't help notice is that none of those who say they care about the planet and the "people impacted" have not done research on what the optimal temperature is for the entire world population. Is it more important to save a donors beach house (dang, those concerned keep buying beach front property too....why?) than provide the most food and best climate for everyone?

Seems the efforts are more self serving than based on saving the planet. If you are concerned about climate change wouldn't you first determine the optimal temperature then defend or plan to never exceed that? At want temperature is the most food produced? What temperature has the most people living comfortably and using the least energy? Shouldn't those questions be answered by anyone claiming to want to "save the planet"?

Sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. "Optimal temperature"???? Where??? When??? for what people?? There is no worldwide average temp that applies to different populations in different areas. Eskimo optimum is not Zulu optimum. Polar bear optimum is not Bengal tiger optimum. Optimum today is not optimum 65 million years ago. And averages mean nothing---you can drown in a lake with an average depth of 1/4 inch.

I have a great idea.....

Instead of debating, let's bet:

If our coastal cities are 50+ feet underwater in 100 years, I'll buy the drinks
If not, you buy

Sounds like a win-win

Drinks?

Do you have any idea how much "Ensure" will cost in 100 years?

Polar bears are increasing, just like Black Bears -- because global warming enhances life of all types of earth. It's up to you if you want to participate in harvesting and add to your trophy wall.

I don't have a trophy wall. Never felt the need for one.
Also, disagree that heat is welcomed by all life forms.

Do you have any science at all for that assertion? Is the population of polar bears increasing or is the count becoming more inclusive and more accurate? Perhaps previously uncounted populations are now being driven into regions where counting occurs.

"Enhances life of all types?" I think you mean all types of life except those that are dying off due to excessive heat.

Just follow PolarBearScience.com for supporting data, or attend the Weather Club for more information. Global warming saves lives -- even polar bear lives.

Did he not know they had hurricanes on the coast of Florida before moving there?

might need more than 50 years. . . is this ocean rising or land submerging?
not far from land, and not very deep. .

looks like the sea level has been rising for a very long time. . since there was a land bridge between England and Europe . .
