Believers are convinced that there is a higher form of forgiveness.

Sorry, did not mean to bring religion into politics. Someone, as always will inevitably mix the two. Maybe because there is so much corruption in politics? I generally stay away from discussing religious beliefs. That is taboo in today's PC world. I guess the next step will be for someone to bring up the ever present issue of abortion and it's religious ramifications.
Preachers are always mixing religion with politics. Who objects to abortion? The religious. That crazy preacher Pat Robertson is always ranting about divine retribution for something political, the latest is the Vegas massacre was caused by disrespect for Trump. How can any thinking individual have anything but contempt for such ravings? Pat Robertson blamed the Vegas shooting on ‘disrespect’ for Trump and the national anthem - The Washington Post

Not harsh at all or even close.

I do not attack him Rubicon because he disagrees with me....not at all.....fact is would welcome some substantive discussion from him but it never happens.

I have allowed him much supporting evidence.

I have allowed and showed him to plagerize TWICE that I can recall.

I have allowed and showed him linking to a Russian fake news site.

I have read and as can you, is almost daily attacks on whatever has made him angry that day.

I oppose Donald Trump, and have supplied volumes of evidence of his upbringing and hate before he was nominated or elected. I attach links showing how mean spirited this person is since he was elected.

BUT....I never criticize people in groups...although I will admit that I have begun to lump "Trump Supporters" because of the total complete echoing of non supportive positions because he tweeted about some issue.

Rubicon lumps people into groups....blacks, "progressives" (put in quotes because he has never defined that. He simply makes a general condemnation of millions of fellow americans, not on policy, not on issue, but PERSONALLY. He characterizes fellow americans a number of ways.......fellow americans, and he does this because they are whatever label he is working with on that day.

I, Coldnomore and others have criticized this President, shared links to make our point...shared his quotes to show he said what we heard him say, and we are then told we have "Trump derangement Syndrome, as if his hate for other Americans no brainwashed was not a serious syndrome in itself.

I get criticized much for supplying too much
information......RUBICON just says things about other people he does not know and makes such terrible and untrue accusations, it is scary.

Not harsh at all. If he believes that plagarism, and we are speaking word for word and passing it off as his own, is not stealing, then yes, I question his christian values. If condemning others on a public forum because they do not agree with your idol is not being judgemental and cruel then he better check his good book that he likes to share with all of us, to make himself look like a good man.

No, not too harsh...he has been challenged and re challenged on ISSUES AND SUBSTANCE, and ignores that and attacks. Yes, it has become personal, because when he speaks of facts and supplies fiction and never is able to document anything he says, and while he will preach to other posters about substance and never speak to substance, that makes him a deceiver.

The Old Testament contains a collection of myths from Egyptian, Greek, and older civilizations. Infuriating? It makes me laugh...the crap they believe...I mean BELIEVE with "all their being". Why? It was pounded into them as children...YOUNG children who don't know better.

They won't look because they're SO brainwashed they can't. They can't imagine anything else...because it's ALL they've known since they can remember. God God God.

Most know nothing of the religion they supposedly believe. All they get is...believe and love in Jesus...and you're golden. They ignore all the rest. They don't concern themselves with the OT at all. The difference between the OT God and Jesus...is night and day...it's schizophrenic.

Of course the flood myth is older than the Bible...it's the oral story of the end of the last ise age when the glaciers began melting and the oceans rose 300-400Ft. It flooded EVERYTHING. Everywhere men lived...flooded...EVERYTHING men had built...flooded and was destroyed. It WAS a "great cleansing"...but NOT for the reasons YOU think. The world IS "6,000 years old"...since the FLOOD...since mankind had to "start over".

The part about the 40 days and 40 nights...closer to 40 or 400 years... The Mediterranean flooded when the gap a Gibraltar was breached. The Black Sea flooded when Bosphorus was breached.

If people knew...if they were educated...they wouldn't believe. WHY do you think mans GREATEST sin is "knowledge"? Eating from the tree of knowledge.

Religions, governments...they LOVE helpless and ignorant people.

Abortion and birth control destroyed America!

That'll be the headline in 30 years when white people are 20% of the population. White people practice birth control and white people have the most abortions. Minorities welcome a new cash register.

You're welcome.

With being a plagiarizer, liar, bigot/racist, pseudo-intellectual and fake Christian...you're quite the complete Chump Cultist.

Deepest Sincere Wishes:
my friend I hadn't time this morning to analyze what you alleged that I wrote because I was too intrigued and in deep analysis about how you were responding, not once but three times. your choice of words and emoji are quite telling.

In any event Ï said better than half of the signers to the Declaration of Indepenence were pastors
This information was a recollection I had from an article written sometime ago in th WSJ, in the House of Worship column. the author said 33 of 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were pastors

The definition of pastor :a spiritual overseer; especially a clergyman serving a local church or parish.

You use the word clergy in your search and you came back with one active clergyman signed.

As you can see pastor has a broader definition/connotation and it may explain the different interpretations.

Pastor used in colonial times is somewhat different than today.

It doesn't matter if one or 33 signers were pastors there is ample evidence that the founders understood that god needed to be included they just did not want a "state religion". I don't need to be right but I do want the record to be right for everyone's sake

Your hypocrisy is difficult to even describe. You seem to be lacking any conscience at all.

My friend you need to go back and read what you just wrote . Then you need to ponder that you and the other poster you reference, whose comments were not too harsh, have repeatedly shown yourselves to be postmoderist contrarians with circular thinking and to try to engage in civil discourse with either of you is a waste of time, keyboarding and electricity.

I do not have to prove any of what i just said because post after post by both of you supports my argument

In the old day of the CB radio some would have asked to take the discussion to a different channel.

I speak for myself.

I have attempted on multiple occasions to engage you in substantive conversation based on the meaning of the forum, which is political discussion..

100% of the time, you simply avoid the questions of substance, and instead will post your long harangues accusing groups of people of things you know nothing about.

You act as judge daily on so many others you don't even know.

I need not to reexamine anything. I speak how I feel, but always attempt to validate my thoughts with links or copying.

You never do.

I never condemn people as a group, and if I even hinted at that, I supply back up.

You never do

I have never even come close to stealing other people's words without crediting properly.

You do so routinely.

I will never support anyone who has no character, not just Trump.

You will anytime.

I am open to any idea on how to engage on substance, budget, gun laws, lack of legislation success or even activity

Over the last year or so, I personally have begun threads on Syria, foreign relations, health care, one President accusing another of a felony, the investigation of a foreign government into our election and others.

You join others in simply ignoring any substance and choose only to speak of Clinton and/or OBama. Or, of course, just speak of your hatred for certain political leanings

Dude, you really, really, don't get it...do you?

You are simply a fake at almost everything...who has earned nothing but contempt.

You try to weasel out of your lying (yes, lying...NOT by having an incorrect "recollection") by NEVER supplying ANY proof of ANYTHING you say.

That you actually believe your discourse exhibits some type of civility, all the while proving the inverse...is simply amazing.

It's OK though, because both of us know what a fake you are and I take great satisfaction in knowing how insecure and how hard you try to matter...to those of us who actually can prove what we say.

And yes, my use of emoticons is purposeful, in trying to fully express my disgust...of fakes and passive-aggressive lowlifes like yourself.

Make no mistake, I have more integrity, ethics and morality in my little finger...than you will ever have in your entire hypocritical body.

Life is good and gets even better, when I realize how many people like you are around here and that although I don't consider myself superior to everyone else...I KNOW I am superior to you and your ilk.

I promise to pay closer attention.

Since in this political forum, we cannot search, it just is my memory that almost all comments on the autrocites this President has reigned upon our Whit Hiuse your retort is to bring up something (in very general terms of course, never specific) that you feel Obama or Clinton did.

But will reall pay attention, and promise if an apology is due, you will get one.

I did not miss your point at all....if you can help to have conversations on anything of substance, you will be a hero. Any substance posted is met with nothing but calling me having a syndrome, or a reference to OBama, or Clinton. Maybe a blanket condemnation of anything less than far right extreme position simply blaming the ills of the world, mostly on progressives, or the NFL, or movie stars, etc.

I will not accuse anyone of not being a Christian, if they wish to make such a claim. That is between them and their GOD.

However, I can dispute you based on your hypocrisy. You do not criticize the President, you disparage and demean him. You make ludicrous statements like "sins" which has NOTHING to do with his job. You defend Hillary and her sins, but to question you on that is not allowed because someone brought another example of your questionable character to light. Get over yourself, because the only one you are convincing is yourself.

And yes, I can admit to being a "sometime" hypocrite. All of you are, whether you admit it or not. And that is one of the great things about Christianity, you can be forgiven.

I plead guilty as charged.

This President is one of the single most dispicable human beings on earth. He is destroying not only ourvWhite House but is dividing this country as never before. The Bob Corker statement today was such an eye opener.

And when he lies, that's a sin. When he deceives an entire country that is a sin. I think, but not a theologan, but think when you mock McCain to amuse others because if an injury received as a POW is a sin. I think all his deceptions are sins. I thinking making false public worldwide accusations with no merit is a sin. I could continue.

I have NEVER in my life defended Hillary Clinton. I have criticized you for your constant, almost daily harangue about her. The election was over almost a year ago....let it go.

You idol, Tump could use your defense instead of constantly speaking of an election a year ago.

And it is unbearable to have you, whomis obviously uneducated, a slave to the words of an evil man even attempt to tell me anything about being a Christian.

I read your terrible and mean posts. You are not even close to being a christian

And my post was directed at one poster, AND IT WAS NOT YOU, so stick to your uninformed rants
